What is ETHOS?

  • While bioethics is the study of ethical, social, and legal issues that arise in bioscience and biomedical research, its core principles assist to achieve Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Medical ethics is an interdisciplinary field encompassing a broad range of domains: public health, health research and clinical care.

  • At one end, it pertains to aspects of the doctor-patient relationship, such as consent and confidentiality, while on the other end, it is ideally positioned to address conflicts of interest in healthcare and research

  • Ethos 6.0 is a conference with the goal of bringing together International and National experts in the field of bioethics and students of health sciences. ACS MEDICAL COLLEGE AND HOSPITAL, Chennai is hosting an International Bioethics, Medical, and Research Conference with the theme “WHISPERS OF AI : ETHICAL ECHOES IN HEALING AND LEARNING” at ACS Medical college and Hospital, A Unit of Dr.M.G.R Educational and Research Institute (Deemed to be University) Chennai, TAMIL NADU, INDIA
