Model United Nations
Model United Nations, is an educationally riveting simulation of the United Nations. Students in this set up get the opportunity to refine their debating, writing, leadership skills and test their waters in diplomacy and international relations.
Delegates participating in this event will be preferentially allotted to one of the 3 Committees-
-
UNSC (United Nations Security Council)
-
WHO (World Health Organization)
-
AIPPM (All India Political Party Meet)
And one country/ politician (for AIPPM) that they will represent.
Each committee will hold discussions on the Agenda under multiple sessions over the span of 2 days.
Ethiview
Your capacity of resolving medical and ethical problems will be put to test in this unique event! Two rounds of challenging cases will be presented to teams of 2 members.
The first round is ‘conflict resolution’ in which the teams will be given a case scenario, where there lies a conflict of interest between 2 professionals. The team is supposed to come up with an ethically sound solution to the given problem.
4 teams will be chosen for the next round where they will be allotted a pillar of bioethics i.e. justice, non-maleficence, beneficence and autonomy. The teams will then be given a case scenario, where they have to decide if the conclusion drawn at the end of the case was ethically right, in terms of the pillar allotted to each team.
They can do so by discussion and analysis to justify their stance through the same.
Rules for the contest:

Registrations open in pairs (2 member team).

No foul language is to be used.

Exceeding time limit may result in reduction of points

In round 1, teams will be given 5 minutes to discuss the given topic. They will then be given 3 mins to speak with their turn. Only 1 speaker is allowed to speak during the time.

In the second round, Team will be given 5 minutes to discuss on the topic and will get to discuss their resolution for 3 minutes.

Topics will be given on the spot.

No malpractice and cheating will be entertained(using phones etc.)

Not following the above rules will result in disqualification.

Ethiscan
A medical simulation event that helps students navigate through medical dilemmas with the help of principles in Bioethics.
Rules for the contest:

Entries are accepted as 3 member teams.

The competition encloses 3 rounds.

Each round has 1 case scenario and a few presenting questions.

Each team will be given time to discuss and 1 speaker will answer the questions

The participants can present their answers in 3 minutes with an additional minute to conclude their speech
-
They will be judged based on the answers and by the end of round 1, 5 teams proceed to round 2.

Round 2 has the same rules as round 1, at the end of which 2 teams secure their spot in the final round.

In the final round, the format follows, except the teams will get a chance to rebuttal.

Photography enthusiasts will find their muse in a dedicated photography exhibition, where the lens will reveal the world in all its nuanced beauty. Additionally, there will be a heartfelt letter-writing activity, inviting individuals to compose poignant and thoughtful letters to esteemed doctors, expressing gratitude and admiration for their tireless dedication. This tapestry of artistic and reflective endeavors will undoubtedly set a profound and eloquent tone for the forthcoming conference.
